In 2011, Westwood Curtis constructed a 7,500 foot long paved pathway for Teton County, Wyoming in Grand Teton National Park and adjacent to the National Elk Refuge. Work on the project included installation of culverts ranging from 18” to 42”, geogrid reinforcing mat, excavation, grading, crushed gravel, asphalt pavement, signage, guardrail and a 75-foot tunnel underneath Highway 89. Work on the project included day and night shifts to alleviate traffic control issues and to reduce the amount of time encroaching in the public right-of-way.
