This project consisted of installation of approximately 1,100 lineal feet of 12” ductile iron water main for the Town of Jackson in and around Town Square in an extremely short period. The project was intended to be completed between April 15 and June 30 (prior to Independence Day). Installation crews were able to accelerate the schedule and have all pipe work and surface restoration completed shortly after Memorial Day. While connecting to important water mains, and in order to accommodate Town Square businesses, crews worked during the night with Town of Jackson staff. Night work was also performed when prepping the asphalt subgrade to better serve business hours in the area. Work was also performed which included reconstruction of curbs, wooden sidewalks and concrete paving at an extremely busy intersection.
